Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your information

If you are a vendor or member, an employee of a member business, someone applying to a program, or someone who was referred, the Program Operator that runs that program decides how your information is used. We process it on their behalf to provide the software. Questions about a program are best sent to its Program Operator first, and we will help them answer.

For Program Operator staff accounts, and for our own sales, billing and support, LHSA decides how the information is used.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, job title and role.
• Business profiles: business name, logo, website, service area, offers and other details a vendor adds to their listing.
• Applications and forms: what you enter when you apply to a program, sign up for a perk, register for an event or contact a Program Operator.
• Referrals: the name, phone number, email address and notes about a person, entered by the vendor or employee who referred them.
• Contracts: agreements sent for signature and their signing status.
• Billing records: membership plan, payment status and dates. Card numbers are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.
• Program activity: tasks, notes, messages, event attendance and changes made in the software, kept so a Program Operator can see who did what.
• Technical information: sign-in records and security logs. To slow down abuse of public pages we keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, never the address itself. Clicks on public perks pages are counted without recording who clicked.

3. How information is used

• To run the Program Operator’s program: listings, perks, referrals, events, contracts and billing.
• To send account, program and service emails.
• To keep the software secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
• To provide support and improve the software.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising across other websites. The software has no advertising trackers.

4. Who information is shared with

The Program Operator running your program, and the people it authorizes in its account.

Service providers that run parts of the software for us, under contracts that limit their use of the information:

Legal and safety reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people or of LHSA.

Business changes: if LHSA is involved in a merger, sale or similar change, information may move with the business, still covered by this policy.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The software uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and secure. Your browser may also remember display preferences, such as which panels you collapsed. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

6. If someone referred you

A vendor or employee who knows you entered your details so the Program Operator’s team could get in touch. If you would rather not be contacted, tell the team that reaches out, or email us at hello@lifetimehomesupport.com and we will make sure the Program Operator removes your details.

7. How long information is kept

Information is kept while the program relationship is active and afterward for as long as the Program Operator needs it for its records, or as the law requires. When a Program Operator stops using Lifetime Vendor OS, we delete or return its information as our agreement with them provides. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask that we stop sending you non-essential email. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws, you may have further rights, such as getting a copy of your information or appealing a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email hello@lifetimehomesupport.com. We will confirm your identity before acting. If your information belongs to a Program Operator’s program, we will pass your request to them and help them respond. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

9. Security

Information is encrypted in transit, and each Program Operator’s data is kept separate from every other Program Operator’s inside the database. Access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you suspect a problem.

10. Children

Lifetime Vendor OS is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. For significant changes we will also let Program Operators know.
